| Launch Stars Red by Kaufman via fabric.com |
Our friend CB and her family are adopting a little boy from China. JM learned that it is tradition in China to welcome a new little one with a Bai Jia Bei or 100 Good Wishes Quilt, so we are going to make one for them. Four of us are going to work together and we are going to also have our kids participate by tracing their hands to be added to the quilt. We are going to use mostly red fabrics. We will also collect our wishes and put them in a book. This will be the backing.
